When a fire resistant wall or floor is compromised with service penetrations, it
must be restored to its original fire resistance.
Service penetrations include electrical, telecommunication, fibre optic
cables, metal and plastic pipes and ventilation ducts etc.
All Intumex products are tested to national and internationally
accepted standards.
Many of the Intumex product range also have high intumescent properties
which cause them to expand when exposed to heat, forming a high strength
insulating char.
In the event of fire, Intumex fire stopping seals restrict the spread of
flame, smoke, hot gases and water through penetration openings and
construction joints.

Intumex® L Intumescent Laminate
Intumex ® L is an intumescent laminate, used for the sealing of gaps
in doors, glazing, ventilation dampers, plastic pipes and building joints. The
expanded Intumex ® L Laminate creates a stable, hard, fire resistant
char preventing spread of fire, smoke and hot gases.

Intumex® LC Intumescent Laminate
Intumexf ® LC is a white intumescent fire protection laminate, consisting
of a coating applied to a woven glass fabric. This product is very thin and very
flexible. It is used to prevent the spread of fire and provides excellent insulation.
Intumex ® LC can be easily applied in one clean working process.

Intumex® LFCPSK Intumescent Seal
Intumex ® LFCPSK is a co-extruded, highly thermo expanding and flexible
seal, which three faces cover by a colour coat. The total compound is based on high
performing, intumescent graphite in a halogen free polymer binder. Intumex ® LFCPSK
creates under fire a thermo oxidation and fire erosion resistant, rigid char, which
protects sealed joints and gaps against flaming, heat transmission and smoke diffusion.

Intumex ® LFSK is a highly thermo expanding, flexible material in strip
form. It is used as a hot gas sealant for doors and glazing systems. The expanded

Intumex ® AB is a water based endothermic (non-expanding)

paste form to suit different application requirements.

Intumex ® AN is an acrylic based, one-component smoke and fire stop sealant.

Intumex® AS Sealant
Intumex ® AS is an elastomeric, single component trowel grade fire stopping
sealant for use on services on walls & floors. It is designed for use with electrical
and telecom cables, non combustible pipes, joints and gaps against spread of smoke and
fire. When cured, Intumex ® AS provides an elastic flexible seal accommodating
movements up to 60%. Intumex AS is also resistant to moisture.

Intumex® MG Sealant
Intumex ® MG is an acrylic based highly intumescent, single component fire
stopping sealant. It creates a high pressure on expansion and is designed for sealing
of combustible pipes (up to 50mm diameter). It can also be used on electrical and

fire retardant in a CFC-free aerosol can. The foam is close celled and impermeable to gas,
